Linux won't let me add more partitions!
I'm currently installing Fedora Core 2, i want this to be a Dual Boot system with Windows XP SP2.
I currently installed windows and left part of the hard drive unpartitioned to anything so that Linux can pick up the free space. However, when I manually configure the partitions, the installer won't let me make more than 2 partitions on my hd!
i only have 1 physical 160 GB seagate drive, is there a limit as to how many partitions you can have?
here's the partition info:
>Hard Drives
> /dev/hda
Free 8 mb freespace
> /dev/hda1 Extended 40g
/dev/hda5 ntfs 40g
/dev/hda2 vfat 32g
Free 78g freespace
i can only mount 2 more things... but i need at least three: swap, /, and /home...
when i try to add anymore, the installer says: "Could not allocat requested partitions: Partitioning failed: could not allocate partitions"
thanks for any help
