Linux into a specified drive

Hi all, I checked around the site to see if there was anything else like this but couldn't find anything so here goes.....
I had Suse 9.1 installed and I nuked the whole thing, I'm into gaming so I want to dual boot Windopes and either Suse 9.1 or Mandrake 10.0.
I created 3 drives on my hard drive, now I want to install Mandrake or Suse on Drive D, but I can't remember seeing where I could specify what drive to install Linux on, and I just tried to load it and I didn't see where I could do that.
I must be doing something wrong
Tanks in advance

yeah, course you can.

it's part of both SuSE and Mandrake's setup routine.

disks will be:

hda - 1
bdb - 2
hdc - 3
hdd - 4

etc etc
