Question Installing window decorations

I have tried many times to download and install window decorations. Everytime I get one i get this in the "how to install" part:

- Step 1
$ ./configure
OR: $ ./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
- Step 2
$ make
- Step 3 (as root)
# make install

I know i have to use the terminal to do this but I can't figure out what it means. Can someone please tell me what the hell it means and how to do it. Any help will be much appreciated.

1) Sign in as root:
su root
(then type password, press enter)
2) Type:
./configure && make && make install

Explanation:
The configure bash script creates a Makefile fine-tuned to your system configuration. The make utility then reads in that Makefile and executes the (installation) instructions in it. "install" refers to a particular set of rules within that Makefile.

Samsara
