Installing CentOS, I get hung up at "package download"

Installing CentOS, I get hung up at "package download"
I have tried to install CentOS about twenty times. Each time it hangs up at package download. I says that file rsh-o,17-40.e15.i386.rpm cannot be oppened Due to a missing file or corrupt package or corrept nedia.

I have tried to offer other settings as I go through the installation but I alwasys end up at the same poing. At that point the offer only two choices "reboot or try again. I have looked for an opption at evy point of the instalayion befor I get to this point - NO DIFFERENCE
That doesn't give much to go on--it still leaves out a lot from "what exactly . . . ."
Is the computer connected to an ethernet connection with access to the internet while you are doing the install? It sounds as if it's trying to download something and can't find it.
Yes the computer conects with no problem when conected with an installed Linux, any one of the eleven I now have commected or with any of the three Windows OSes. (but I have 16 Linyx CD/DVDs that will not omsta;
