how to set LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5


hi
on rh7.1 netscape6,i have not in ./netscape/plugins pluginjava_oji.so so i link this and
that comes into ./plugins
but netscape not open afterworda
i gave
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL
it works ok
But every time i'v to give it How can i set this variable and where
thanks

Put your export line (export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5) in /etc/profile and that should sort you out. You will want to logout then log back in to see the change.
