How do I load tulip driver?

I Have a Linksys TX100 card that needs the tulip driver. in the card selection i didnt see my card even though i bought it because it had the penguin on the box. If you could help me understand how to load this driver(have disk on 3.5" ) I would be very grateful.

check /sbin/lsmod and see if "tulip" is there, if its not try modprobe tulip
then you need to either manually use /sbin/ifconfig to configure/bring up the card or use the ifup script in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts.

hint: adding "alias eth0 tulip" to /etc/modules.conf will make it load automatically on boot(subsitude 0 with 1 if its the second nic, 2 if its the third and so on)

hint2: check dmesg and see if your card is detected.

If the above doesnt work you may need to compile the module manually with the soruce code provided in the disk, there should be some sort of instruction provided on the disk.
