Post graphical mode


hi, I installed linux redhat 7.2 on my pc but I can't get into the graphical mode, Every time I load graphical mode I get this error.

Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb
(ww) Warning, couldn't open module bitmap
(ee) Failed to load module "bitmap" (module does not exist,0)
(ww) Warning, couldn't open module pcidata
(ee) Failed to load module "pcidata" (module does not exist,0)

Fatal server error:
Unable to load required base modules,Exiting

Does anyone know what I did wrong? thx.

Have you tried re-configuring your X server? If all you're getting is the text login, then login as root and type xconfigurator. I can't remember if it begins with a small x or a capital X - best just press x and then press the tab key a couple of times to find out.

XConfigurator will ask you some questions about your hardware, but none should be too taxing if you've got all the manuals and whatever.
