How to get into graphical mode!

I have put mandrake 9.2 on computer and when it starts up it does not go on to graphical log on (it goes onto text logon). Is there a way that I can get it in to graphical mode.

Thanks

Barratt

startx

or

startx <name_of_windowmanager>

ummm...heh

If you want to change it permanently, edit /etc/inittab.
change the "default runlevel" line (id:3:initdefault: ). You'll see a number 3...change it to 5

And if you are'nt sure about editing the initab then mandrake control center prolly can do the trick. In there you can set to boot to a gui (by setting a tick in a box).
