I edited fstab so that I can mount a partition I created for gentoo (so I'm in my Debian partition):
First the error message:
Code:
root@DavidLee1A:/home/david# mount /dev/sda6
[mntent]: line 13 in /etc/fstab is bad
mount: can't find /dev/sda6 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
root@DavidLee1A:/home/david#
The vim /etc/fstab I am working on in sda1:
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
# / was on /dev/sda1 during installation
UUID=b2aa2689-a505-491a-8acb-136545a3bd38 / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
# swap was on /dev/sda5 during installation
UUID=8fb16634-354d-483d-9b11-40cb452db175 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/sr0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
/dev/sda6 / ext3 nouser, noauto 0 0

How do I fix this so that I won't get an error when I try and mount sda6?
