How do I correct my program associations in KDE-Linux (RedHat 9 with KDE)? I changed my "open with" program for HTML files to OpenOffice vs. Mozilla. ...though I can right-click the HTML file and hit Open With and then open it in Mozilla, double clicking it opens it in OpenOffice. How do I retore Mozilla's position as the default HTML viewer for doulbe-clicking?

Don't know about KDE, but in Gnome you can go to main > preferences > file types and programs. I think it should be the same for KDE.
There it will be under documents, then under World Wide Web. HTML files will be there. If you change the default action to Mozilla, it should change it so Mozilla opens it.
Open a terminal and type:whereis mozilla and make a note, probably /usr/bin/mozilla is the one you want.
Right click on the file to change associations for and select Open With / Other...
Normally, you could select from the list but I don't see it there so....
In the box with the thingy that looks like a broom , type the path to mozilla which you found in the first step.
Check the box which is labeled Remember application associtation for this type of file
That's kinda what I did to set OpenOffice to open it. I don't wanna clutter my open with menu by adding another Mozilla entry. I was hoping I could edit my existing entry to make it default.
