hey there

I am new to linux so i may say some mistake

u have to check if the kernel loaded your driver with this command :

ls /lib/modules/*/kernel/drivers/net

do you see anything that can be your driver ? (like)Creative Labs SB X-Fi

If yes : /sbin/modprobe nameofurdriver

If no : I don't know how to recompile the kernel (i need to know too , check on my post i have the same problem with my Eth0 inf)

Glad if i could help

Ya I was not able to find a possible driver so... I guess I will keep trying other options.

Thanks though!

There are drivers
http://opensource.creative.com/soundcard.html
http://4front-tech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7485#7485

binary
oss-linux-v4.0-1016.i386.rpm and
oss-linux-v4.0-1016.i386.tgz from
http://www.opensound.com/download.cgi

source code
http://www.4front-tech.com/developer...es/stable/gpl/

You need to be an expert to use the drivers, and I have
seen no success stories yet.

Regards
