Automatic login for Fedora 11/Gnome

After installing Fedora 11/KDE 4, I've decided to give Fedora 11/Gnome a try. How does one set up "Automatic Login?" I've used this for years on KDE in a secure area. Thanks Bob K.

It seems Fedora has gone back a step or two. The GUI to permit auto-login seems to have been removed since FC9 (re: fedora forums).

This link gives a solution

the Gnome Desktop Manager ( GDM) is in a state of being rewrote from the ground up .
The upshot of this is that gdm in fedora 11 is ONLY a partly working svn build and only barly just works .

so the short answer is NO you can not do that using GDM

however you CAN use KDM to start Gnome
add a /etc/sysconfig/desktop file
with this text in it
