My question is simply this: Is there a setting in KDE to automatically map network drives t login and disconnect them at logoff?
If not, is there a shell script(s) that is run at logon/logoff in KDEthat I can add the smbmount/smbumount commands to to get the same effect?
It absolutely must be as automatic as possible as this is a machine I'm setting up for a newbie user who has agreed to be my guinea pig at work. If I can get him to like Linux, I could possibly get more people to switch... I've already made the scripts for mounting and unmounting and placed desktop icons to access them, but I hope I can make it more transparent for the user where he doesn't have to do anything.
