Yet another bandwidth limiting question?

I need to limit bandwidth usage for two computers using the same internet connection benhind an iptables nat. Searched all over here, and the various threads point to things too advanced to me, or to some outdated howto's.
Tried one script said to be simple, at http://roback.cc/howto/bandwidth.html, but only got errors. In this thread http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...idth+limiting.
So, if someone can help make it work, its also ok.

How can I limit bandwidth on a 256kbps link between two computers? No need of special features, just something like 128k for each?

A script to enable/disable would be great, so I can turn it on and off over a ssh connection.

I have suse 9.1 pro, iptables 1.2.9, iproute2-2.4.7 and /usr/sbin/tc. Is that all?

Thanks friend,
I read the wshaper readme and stuff. It has the advantage that it runs with no errors in my machine. But I can't test yet if it really does what I need. Do you use it? Its just a matter of setting the value (of up and down link) you want in the first variables and run the thing?

Hey friend! Wshaper is really wonderful! It works! I tested it, and it does limit!
Very cool! I wrote two of them, one limits to 80kbps and the other limits to 260, which is the top speed, so in practice, I turn it on and off.
Thank you very much!
