i am connected to internet by an proxy server which is connected to ISP.
i have this problem now.
i can not ogin to yahoo mail.i can login to my id from outside my university cambus.
so that obviously there is no problem with yahoo.
is there any method to resolve this.

where you able to login to yahoo before? from another computer maybe on the campus network? sounds to me like proxy doesn't give you access
(I don't think that you can access it direct right?ofcourse since you've said through proxy)
I assume you are talking about Yahoo mail from a web browser. What exatly is the error you are getting? You could try using a different browser. Since you're from India, try using "mail.yahoo.co.in", or if you are already using the India site, try the international site. http://mail.yahoo.com/?.intl=us
Edit: Since you got the error, maybe the issue will be resolved in a while. If not, then check for unusual network activity, the "iptraf" tool may help. It could also be an issue with your ISP
