Where is IP info stored-RH8

I'm running Red Hat enterprise version, ES 2.1. It's pretty much RH8.

I would like to know where is the host IP information stored. I thought it was in /etc/hosts, but I don't see it there.

The computer's address is 192.168.0.5 . When I run /sbin/ifconfig it shows it's address fine. I need to know where this IP information is kept so that I can change it.

could also be /etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default - at least it is on my RH9.
