i Got 1 Harddisk with Win XP & RH8 Dual Boot,will WinXP perform slower coz i got RH8?


well i have 1 Harddisk
and it has a LILO bootloader with RH8 and Windows XP
both OS works properly...
im just just curious..
if i will be using Windows XP.. will i experience a slower Windows XP because there is a Redhat 8 Partition on the same Harddisk even if Windows XP cant see those REDHAT Partitions?
someone experienced a slower Windows XP when dual booted with Redhat8 ?
just askin..

I'm going to say you shouldn't notice a difference. I don't... but then again... Windows has always been slow compared to Linux.

Really no, but as rmartine said Windows has always been slow. Once you get used to running Linux it will seem slower.

No.
Linux will not affect the performance of winXP.
