You know, these days, you'll pick up Cisco stuff on eBay for half nothing. A friend of mine recently got 3 Catalyst 4000's, 2 of which had the full L3 Supervisors. They were populated with 48 port 10/100 and 6x GB modules. He paid about £300 - £400 for each of them. Back when they were current, a setup like that would have set you back £40k or more.
