That's not much information to go on. You do know that squirrelmail is just a web client. It connects with imap to whatever mail server you are running or using.

What do your logs tell you? What does the squirrelmail configtest.php tell you?

First the web server (apache) is configured correctly for that web service?

This happened to me when there was an error in config file. If you can send me the config file from your squirrel mail directory (./config/config.php) I can check it out.

But there can be other problems too.

the config.php is not working either, all I can see is just a mere blank page for all php files in squirrelmail. But last night I tried to always a different web mail client, I installed roundcube webmail then I did a try to run php files in squirrelmail then it works. Now I got a working squirrelmail webmail, I believe there are missing modules before the installation of roundcube and as I had installed the roundcube the missing modules was installed on roundcube. Thanx guys..
