Firefox blank page problem

When I already have a browser window running firefox, and I click on the launch icon from the panel, a blank page comes up and nothing happens.
From there I can enter a URL or click on a link and it goes to the page.
Anyone know why it does this or how I can have it go to my home URL?

Thanks,
J

you are prolly using another profile - change the hompage to whatever, close the browser and reopen it - it should go toyour home page. If you a brand new profile the new profile will start as default settings. and occasionally it starts with about:blank [which I like]
