NFS problem

Hello,
I have the NFS server on my PC (Red HAt 8). The NFS daemon started OK.
The problem is, when I connecting the extrnal board that should be a NFS client (running Montavista lunux). The board gets its IP from this PC (by DHCP), but fails to see the NFS. The strange thing that I see on the PC, is the the file /proc/fs/nfs/exports is:
# Version 1.1
# Path Client(Flags) #IPs
Is it correct /proc/fs/nfs/exports ??

The following is what my board prints:

Sending DHCP requests ., OK
IP-Config: Got DHCP answer from 10.10.10.28, my address is 10.10.10.200
IP-Config: Complete:
device=eth0, addr=10.10.10.200, mask=255.255.255.0, gw=10.10.10.1,

bootserver=10.10.10.28, rootserver=10.10.10.28, rootpath=/opt/hardhat/devkit/ppc/405/target

My /ext/exports file is:
/opt/hardhat/devkit/ppc/405/target *(rw,no_root_squash,no_all_squash)

Thank you for any idea.

Ok, I've found the problem: when I removed the firewall from my Linix PC, the NFS works!

Cannot start NFS on windows host

I recently had a problem on starting nfsd service on my windows xp host. Basically I had a montavista pro 3.1 installed on it and need to start the nfsd to mount a volume to my target board. Although portmap service is successfully started, however, both mountd and nfsd cannot be started. Every time I encountered a error, saying "the nfsd service on local computer started and stopped. Some services stopped automatically if they have no work to do. " I actually disabled all of device that are not servicing and diable the firewall as well.

Really need some helps from you.

Thanks.

I've worked with Montavista on the Linux host. If you are working on your company' LAN, you can consultant with your system administrator, whether you have some installations, which may interfere. Good luck!
