Networking (I need file sharing) with Suse 9.2 (I hear they've made it harder)

post your samba config. Its likely that the share isn't writable or that the actual directory's permissions need to be changed using chmod

at least thats my guess

You probably have to escape the space between Electronic and Media:

path = /home/video/Electronic\ Media

or put the path under quotes

Interestingly there isn't a rule against "Thread Hijacking" that I saw, but I'll answer it anyway.

Generally, SusE doesn't post downloadable ISO images of their product (they have done it a few times though). Right now if you want 9.2 you can go to their site and download the FTP install CD. Its about 70MB and once you've burned it, use one of their FTP mirrors to install over the Internet.

At the bottom of this page is the link to the FTP ISO download.

This is the list of mirrrors to use once you've booted that disc. Choose one that is relatively close to you.
