I have the Debian Sarge installed in the XP. It uses the bridge to connect directly to the physical network. Http and Ftp servers are installed in the linux box, and there's no problem to access to these servers on other machines except the host. It's extremely slow to access the guest on the host, about 100bps. I have installed the vmware tool on the guest, but it seems useless. Any idea?
But it's difficult to say anything when you don't mention versions..... the vmware site - www.vmware.com has forums and has tons of information in those forums. You might be better off posting there.
