Need help with getting DWL-650+ to the internet

I own a voodoo m-355 laptop and have a d-link dwl-650+ wifi card, i got the acx100 drivers to work and there are no problems getting the module to boot up. I can ping the base station and i get a response. However, when i go down to he base station it says that i am not connected to it even though linux says that i am. Also i can not connect to the internet

btw i follows house of craig's instructions to the letter

I think that card is cursed. I still haven't heard of anyone getting that damn thing to work. May I suggest using a Prism II card and use the orinoco drivers.

Easy as pie.

I used to own a 650+. It now functions as a door jam and a frisbee.

It worked for me - some days.
Check your routing. If you can ping the base station you should be able to get to outside hosts as well.
