Unhappy My cable modem can get only 1BIT/sec ??

How come my cable modem service can get only one bit per secs ??down stream .

Is this hardware issue ? nic misconfigure ? or something else ?

Post which cable modem you have, what distro are you using. Contents of /etc/resolv.conf, lspci (for ethernet card information) and ifconfig for the status of your internet.

Thn someone should be able to give u suggestions.

Even if it's a hardware problem, the troubleshooting will be done using networking tools
