Local mail loopback errors

I've a virtual maildir Postfix+MySQL setup. On a previous install I had it working flawlessly, on this install my maillogs are throwing up loopback errors when I try to mail within the domain (eg. From: user1@domain.tld, To: user2@domain.tld) or just on the same machine (eg. From: apache@host, To: user1@domain.tld) . Mail to and from the domain works flawlessly, and this server is the only MX for my domain.

I have attached the output of postconf.

Please advise me on how to erradicate this troublesome issue so that I may user my mail server as normal.
Thank you

Since I've never configured postfix with virtual mailboxes, I don't know if I can help, but... according to
http://www.postfix.org/VIRTUAL_READM...irtual_mailbox

1 /etc/postfix/main.cf:
2 virtual_mailbox_domains = example.com ...more domains...
3 virtual_mailbox_base = /var/mail/vhosts
4 virtual_mailbox_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/vmailbox
5 virtual_minimum_uid = 100
6 virtual_uid_maps = static:5000
7 virtual_gid_maps = static:5000
8 virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual

Line 2: The virtual_mailbox_domains setting tells Postfix that example.com is a so-called virtual mailbox domain.
If you omit this setting then Postfix will reject mail (relay access denied) or will not be able to deliver it (mail for
example.com loops back to myself).

Since your configuration is referencing virtual_mailbox_domains as a SQL lookup, I can't tell if dalive.com has
been added to the SQL database.

Thats all I got. Good luck in finding this problem.

Thanks for the try. But Dalive.com is in my domain table (mysql) infact, I've noticed that the only time i get this loopback problem,
is for mail from a system user (user@host) to a virtual domain user on the same machine (user@domain.tld).

Peace

If all else fails, try enabling the postfix debugging features. I found them quite useful back when I setup my
postfix server. The output can get quite verbose (to say the least), but it helped me discover a rather
embaressing error I had made during my initial setup.

Anyway, if you haven't done so already, checkout: http://www.postfix.org/DEBUG_README.html

I'm in a bit of an embarrasing situation myself, here I was thinkign that my Postfix config, which I know worked on a previous setup are bad, while instead, Courier is some how getting it's hands on some of my mail. Which it should not be.
