Exists a mail-client for Fedora, that can read local mail file without deleting?
Hello,
On my Fedora Core 1 I have found multiple mail-clients (Evolution, KGet and KMail). On my system I have fetchmail to retrieve mail, which stores the mail in /var/spool... I use this in combination with squirrelmail, so i can acces the mail from out of home. But when I am at my home I would like to use a "normal" mail client such as Evolution or other. But both Evolution, KGet and KMail, seems to delete the messages from the /var/spool/mail/user file when the mails are retrieved. I dont want that! Because i still want to be able to access all the mails from outside my home, using squirrelmail. Is there some mail client I can use with Fedora (with GUI), that can read mail rom the /var/spool.. file without deleting the contents of it? Its ok if they use IMAP, because i have the imap deamon running (for squirelmail). All the before mentioned e-mail clients also support imap, but there is no option for "Do not delete meesage from server" or similar.
/Martin
