Question File Sharing with NFS


Help! When I try to mount a NFS file share I get this in return

mount: RPC : Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused

Any help would be great!

First of all, are you sure that ther server really are running NFS? You can check this by running the command rpcinfo -p and make sure that mountd and nfsd are running on the server. If it is, try looking at the /var/log/messages on the server. What does it say?
