Failed to detect ethernet card


Hi, i'm a newbie, i have a dual-boot system of windows xp and suse 10.1 with my windows xp as the main boot. My suse is failed to detect my ethernet card and so i am unable to connect to internet. My ethernet card is IC Plus IP 1000 Family Gigabit Ethernet adapter. Can anyone pls tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks.

According to this article, you need to download the ipg driver at http://www.icplus.com.tw/driver-pp-IP1000A.html

I followed the instruction of the article u provide me....but too bad it cannot work when i "make all" the file...i get the following error :

hman:/home/hman/Desktop/NewFolder # make all
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.16.13-4-default/build SUBDIRS=/home/hman/Desktop/NewFolder modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4-obj/x86_64/default'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.13-4-obj/x86_64/default'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Any one knows what's the problem?
