can't get samba+cups to work for remote printing
Hello,
I have emerged all of the necessary packages to print using my hpdeskjet5550
and everything works fine on when printing from my linux computer. I then
setup samba and successfully completed the add remote printer wizard on my
windows box. When I go to print a test page remotely from the windows computer
i don't get any error message and the ink level dialog box pops up with no
reading. It then asks me to hit 'ok' if the print completed or 'cancel' if it
failed.
I have been all over my settings and I can't figure out what the problem is.
To me, it seems like it would be a problem with the samba server, but the
wierd thing is that I can add printers and browse shared folders just fine.
Here are my particulars.
Thank you
blanny
