authenticated mount request from *** : 1023 - Very Slow

I'm running Suse 9.0. When trying to NFS-Maestro mount an exported drive from this (Lynx1) machine, it is very slow..

The messages from /var/log/messages are:
Feb 1 07:31:50 lynx1 rpc.mountd: authenticated mount request from viggo:1023 for /data (/data)
Feb 1 07:31:52 lynx1 rpc.mountd: authenticated mount request from viggo:1023 for /home (/home)

the /etc/exportfs looks like this:
/data *(rw,root_squash,sync)
/home *(rw,root_squash,sync)

I have not done anything in /etc/hosts.allow or /etc/hosts.deny ..
rpc.mountd is running

any suggestions?
