UBUNTU intrepid How do i view files on my HTC 8525

Hello everyone,
I am lucky enough to have a htc8525 with WM6. I dont care about sync, i never do that. All i want to do is access files on my drive to transfer movies and such.

I've installed synce and stuff but i dont see anywhere to move/transfer files to my device.

I also tried wm5storage and it seems to work as a usb drive but when i click it i get "unable to mount file" and my dmesg says this
Code:

OMG 106 views and not one reply wth ?

anyway as usual im answering my own question.

This isnt the way i want to do it, but i tried wm5torage, it did not work so i got cardexport and that worked fine. It makes my card show up as if it were a usb drive, that way i can transfer stuff to it.

Im sure there has to be a way to access it via linux too, just no idea how.

Have you configure your WM6 so that USB to PC using storage method? After this configuration it should work. However I'm not using HTC, I'm using Toshiba Postedge G810.
