Connecting My HTC Touch to Ubuntu???


Hi All,

I dont know if I am at the right place to post this thread but I do know you gonna help me out.I have been using "ActiveSync" for browsing my HTC Touch Mobile (Windows Mobile 6).Now Since i have wiped out Windows and work most of time on Ubuntu Hardy Herone, I need to know what tool can I use to browse HTC Folders on Linux.

Pls Help !!!

sorry i don't have a HTC but i have a sony ericsson and i connect it via usb and it shows up as a disk

you can also try browsing it via bluetooth

I have a HTC touch, I am able to transfer files from the PC to the phone with bluetooth, but am unable to do so with the datacable. Unable to share the internet or browse files on the phone. I too would like some help on this.

htc can act as a usb disk

you will find that setting in the phone : start -> settings -> connections -> usb to pc
