Lightbulb USB not seen by anything?

Have two USB's that used to work. now they are not working anymore.

They are not seen by Files, Discs and G parted.

Any ideas on a program that can sort this out.

Thanks for any ideas.

USB whats? Ports? Drives?

what machine? Are we Raspi, Android, iPhone, PC? Distro? Kernel? etc.
How_To_Ask_a_Question

Post the output of 'sudo lsusb' when the drives are in 10 seconds or more, and 'sudo lsmod |grep usb'

I gather they are USB flash drives?

Do they work in other computers? How are the formatted?

Look at the output of the dmesg command when plugged into the computer.

Are they recognized and assigned a device ID etc?

No 10 machines different manufacturers. Formatted Fat 32. I have made many of these but had two with this failure.

A clue is they are recognized by an iphone but when you try to back up to the Stick it gives the message:

Failed to create a folder(1)
A hard error occurred in the low level disk I/O layer
OK

Need to get at that low level layer but I think this is not possible.
