Question Problem after laptop went in sleep mode

Hi,

I have Windows 7 and RHEL5 installed on my laptop.
During non usaage period my laptop went into sleep mode from linux. After that,it could not come out of sleep by mouse movement or once press of power button or key presses. So forced it to shutdown by long press of power key.
After that the system does not boot up in windows. It gets stuck in starting windows page, though keyboard and mouse pointers work properly even on that page.
Does anyone have any information as to how to get my windows running again as most of my data is in windows.

Well worst come to worst, boot into linux to recover your data. As far as your main problem, try booting windows in safe mode and see how far you can get.

Recovering data from windows.

How do i recover data from my windows partitions. The windows partitions are in NTFS format and not sure of how to mount an NTFS drive from linux.
It would be greart if that is possible. Then i can recover my system using the recovery disk provided.

Install the ntfs packages/tools and you will be able to mount the partitions in linux. Good luck.
