This might not be 100% related to your problem, but I think it may be of help to you.
I have had the same problem with my Sony Ericsson Z600 mobile. Previously I had Nokia 6310. I realized that for each change of my mobile phone, I had to purchase a usb to telephone or serial to telephone cable [which I never did]. Instead, I went out and bought a USB Bluetooth dongle [about $25]. Then with bluez I managed to synchronize my mobile with Kontakt.
This is all very interesting, but on SuSE 10.1 everything about bluetooth works out of the box, the Problem is, how can i sync. the syncml capable nokia communicator with my kde adressbook and the calendar software over bluetooth or cable?
Is there a multisync plugin or something like that?
Recently I bought a Nokia 9300 Communicator. The PC Suite software that comes along with the package is installable on my Windows XP PC and syncs perfectly with my Lotus Notes mail and contacts.
Now I want to do the same with my Linux notebook. Any software suggestions - please do not suggest Windows emulation like VM Ware.
