Hi to you all,

I have a MSI GE70-2PE gaming laptop which has an illuminated keyboard. When i bought this laptop, Windows 8 was installed (very, very, very quickly ditched in favor of Linux ofcourse) and i could change the colour of the illumination from bright light to red to blue to green and even a mix of all three colours (RGB colours).

Now under Linux i am not sure if i can have this feature also. I'm happy with my bright light backlit keyboard but i was wondering if there is any option or program to have the other 3 colours back?

If anyone has a laptop (possible same brand/model) providing the same options, how did you guys do it?

I don't have one of these keyboards, but it looks like this project should do what you want:

You will need node.js and libusb installed then you can install it using npm
