Kernel(2.4.17) Panic in timer_bh() function
Hello All,
Recently i had one kernel Panic in my system(2.4.17 kernel version) during shutdown -h 0(halt).After that i am trying to analyse my crash.When i go through the kernel stack,i have found the following frames in my the kernel stack.
---> timer_bh()
---> tasklet_hi_action()
----> do_softirq()
-----> do_IRQ()
----->
-----> sys_reboot()
----->
From my analysis timer_bh() function is called as a bottom halves function due to timer interrupt(found in do_IRQ();IRQ0 is enabled).
Kernel Crash happening in the timer_bh() function.After that when i tried to dump the struct pt_regs during the Crash at that time EIP is NULL(0x00000000).So i could nt able to find the reason of crash in timer_bh() function.
There is no more messages related to interrupt on the system console(syslog).
(No printk releated to interrupt-handler information).
