Exclamation US robotics


I have a USR internal winmodem ... red hat 9 doesnt detect it ... and damn USR doesnt have linux drivers on the site does anyone have any idea of how to get my modem working ?

I don't think this will help, but shall post it anyway. I too have a USR "external" modem. I connected it to the COM port and configured it as a generic modem. Now Linux did detect my USR modem once. And this was after several reboots Dont know why this happened.

how did you configure it as a generic modem ?

Actually I just went to system tools-> Network Device Control -> Configure -> New -> And added a generic modem. Just put in the details in the wizard and it worked.
