TV Card (Pinnacle pctv usb 2)


Hello
I want to buy me a pinnacle pctv usb 2 tv card.
on the homepage of pinnacle is written that win xp is required. does anybody knows if there is a problem to run it under linux?
I use Fedora core 4

what do you think of pinnacle pctv usb 2.
Or do you can suggest me a better card, which runs under linux

http://www.exploits.org/v4l/ would be a good start.

Flyvideo cards work well but it seems that most stuf can be made to work.

I don't know of any USB video-type devices that are compatible with linux.

Plenty of PCI cards work. There is always an up-to-date list in the kernel source code, in directory Documentation/video4linux/

but I want to use the card in my laptop, so I can't use a pci card. sorry that I didn't mention this
