troubles with pinnacle pctv-card

Hi,

I have troubles installing my pctv-card (working perfectly in XP) in linux (RH7.2)
after googling around I found several tips and even a bash-script wich automaticaly configures the card for you and writes an module.conf for you, but nothing seems to work.
That bash-file does get the channels and I get perfect sound on them, but the only thing I see is a black screen or at best a bunch of colourfull vertical stripes.
Scantv gets me about 3 channels at best and then only sound.
I did get a picture at one time btw but it was on a different pal setting (i'm in Holland it should be pal, right?) and it was only one channel very poorly displayed, it did proof that I don't have a problem with my graphic-card (nvidia geforce 2) though.
Can anyone help?
