SuSE & nForce2 AC97 Audio Controller

I recently installed SuSE 9.0 Pro but I didn't get sounds work very well.
The sounds works well for a while, but after some time it starts sound cracking and lags all the time. I have tried closing arts but with no effect. What should I do to get these sounds work?

EDIT:
Ok maybe this should have been posted to beginners area. It seems that I'm using alsa and alsa hasn't ever worked with me, so how can I change to oss in SuSE? It was easy in Mandrake but I cant find oss in SuSE anywhere...

Hi,

I have also the same configuration, and the same problem. The sound was working for a week, but now It start to make some static when I listen to MP3 or watch DVD.

I'm using ALSA drv, I tried to play with the ALSA mixer, He didn't make any difference...
