Unhappy pci modem woes in RH9


I am using RH9, i've got a smlink internal 56k modem(pci). how do i get the darn thing to work in Linux. It would helpful if someone could also tell me how to get modems working in linux in general.

if it's a winmodem, you'll probably never get it to work... if it's a hardware-based modem, then things might look a little brighter...
