Nvidia install won't work with CRUX 2.1
I suppose the Nvidia installer is only for suse/redhat/mandrake.
Nvidia install = NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7667-pkg1.run
I just downloaded it today: 06-July-2005.
When I run this without any parameters, I get the message that it has to compile an interface, then I get the message "unable to load nvidia.ko. Most likely because the kernel was built using the wrong kernel source."
Note: I am certain this error message is absolutely wrong.
Then it reads: if you know the kernel was compiled using the correct source, you can specify kernel source with "--kernel-source-path"
So I tried:
sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7667-pkg1.run --kernel-source-path /usr/src/linux-2.6.11.7
But it still doesn't work, same error message.
