Need dual monitors- but same on each. (Help!)

Hi! I am setting up an Ubuntu 5.10 PC for my youth group.

We need to control powerpoint type presentations with this. (OOO), and do DVD's. We need the monitor and projector to show identical desktops. (Aka- no difference in what you see- not a wide desktop.)

I have an Nvidea Geforce 4, and a Trident PCI card. We need to control the main monotor with the nvidea, and the projector with the trident. The projector also needs to be able to be disabled at will from the PC- or peferable turned black.

Also, the trident needs to be on older settings than the nvidea. When I tried to connect my semi-old extra monitor to the main card, it didn't work, complaning about freq range. I am afraid the projector is the same.

I think I am using x.org- I don't know though.

I am not adverse to command line.

Google gave me NOTHING.

Thanks a ton!
