Mounting Fedora Volume

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, (let me know, mods), but I am trying to mount my home partition from Fedora Core 3 in another distro on another disk, and fedora core for some reason assigned it to /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00. There is no entry in the device folder of the other distro. Is there another way to mount this?
