I'm not exactly a newbie but this is a newbie type question. I cannot adjust the sound volume on Fedora (core 1). I have a CD playing and I want it to be louder. Apart from the lack of sound volume adjustment everything is fine. The CD player has a sound slider but it has no effect. I would like to adjust the system-wide sound volume but cannot find anywhere to do that. Any help would be appreciated.
