With kppp.
Start Applications-Networking-Remote-access-KPPP(internet dial up-tool).

KPPP

thanx for your reply ,
I have heard about KPPP but there is no KPPP in the place you've told. Thats why I couldn't configure dial up. I ve done a normal installation of mdk ,no custumizing, but KPPP is missing. The other tools (like lin neighborhood) are there. what u think shoul I do?

I am very surprised that it is not there, but you should be able to install it from the third cd.

Here we go again

Do this so Kppp will show up.

Control Center, like start in windoze, then Configuration/Other/Menudrake. Click on the button 'Menu Style' then in the new window click a little dot for "All Applications" then click OK. Click the 'Save' button. Then see if Kppp shows up in the menu. The save may take a bit.

I don't know why Mandrake set it up this way. When you first install it you have "Administrator" applications and not the regular user stuff like internet and such. I ran around in circles with this for a while.

Hope this helps.
