Question Kernel dependency error when installing sound drivers

While trying to install the Aureal AU8820 RPM driver in Red Hat 9, here is the message I received: (BTW, I am a noob)

[root@eggplant Downloads]# rpm -i kernel-sound-au88xx-1.1.2-11@2.2.25_2.i686.rpm
warning: kernel-sound-au88xx-1.1.2-11@2.2.25_2.i686.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID f9651d5a
error: Failed dependencies:
kernel-up = 2.2.25-2 is needed by kernel-sound-au88xx-1.1.2-11@2.2.25_2
[root@eggplant Downloads]#

I think my current Kernel version is 2.4.20-19.9. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

EDIT: Here is some more misc info on my system (kernel 2.4.20-19.9, Redhat 9.0):

Okay, could someone at least tell me if I should even try to fix this? Even if you don't know how, is it possible?
