installed pcmcia driver and orinoco gold card kernel panics
I have installed pcmcia package and orinoco drivers against current kernel
im running a 900z laptop which i hear is one of the most linux unfriendly laptops one could buy, and i can not take it back
well upon installing pcmcia driver and orinoco gold cards and then rebooting my kernel panics when trying to load the pcmcia drivers for my kernel
i can boot via failsafe though and still arrive into X with full functionality with exception of orinoco card
i run a cardctl status as root and get this output while in failsafe mode

5V 16-bit PC Card
function 0: [ready]
dont know where to go frorm here i dont exactly want to stay in failsafe either my main goal is to get the dang card working right though
an orinoco card is a wifi card... i havnt got mine working with linux... hotgirl, do you think you could take me through the process from the start plz? thnx
